If you are a family with children you really should consider joining the Keene Valley Country Club, it is inexpensive and you can join on their web site on a trial 2 week basis,and ATIS - your kids will love you for it! 

A&E: There is more to the arts and entertainment scene here than you might think and this section contains the calendars for every area movie house, performing arts group, etc.  Or maybe you just what to know what is on TV?

EATING AND LOCAL SHOPPING:  Everyone wants local food now and local shopping is a necessity any day, and an activity on a rainy day.

SPORTS: The Town is surrounded by the High Peaks of the Adirondacks and their mountain streams granting its residents a very strong sense of place.  We are  enriched by a world class tradition of winter sports.  In the summer try hiking, swimming, golf, tennis and three major mountain biking sites.  The Olympic Venues are rich with public use times and competitions but you'll need the ORDA calendar to figure it all out.

There are all sorts of places to visit when you have no interest in climbing anohter mountain!

TRAVEL: Everyone needs to leave Town now and then so you need to know options for getting to/from NYC and Montreal, how to chose among our 4 area airports, Champlain ferry schedules.

PRACTICAL STUFF:  Health care delivery and insurance,  internet access, cell service, etc, and the Town website all help make living in our Town easier.
