Here are links to People Pages (what we used to call the whitepages) and Yellow Pages. You will also see reverse number lookup so you can figure out who it is that has been calling even if they don't leave a message, like caller ID. When you search for a person or business, in addition to the number, their address and a map with their location pops up - a very handy feature.
If you look up yourself, you will see links that allow you to edit or delete your listing. You can also add listings for other family memebers, for example. Because our 911 addresses are relatively new, you should check to be sure yours is correct (my record still showed the address I made up back before we had real addresses).
You can register your phone online at the National Do Not Call Registry and all telemarketing calls will stop. They can't stop calls asking for donations. This service is run by the Federal Government.
An updated copy of the local phonebook is available for $5 at Valley Grocery, Town Hall and McDonough's Valley Hardware.
