This website is written by Dave Mason. He spent every summer of his life in Keene Valley (beginning in 1953) staying at his grandparents camp off Airport Road. In the late 1970's he managed to buy some land on Gristmill Lane in Keene. He and his partner, Jim Herman, moved to Keene in 2004 from Boston. Previously, Jim Herman and Dave Mason wrote the Guide to Giving and Volunteering in Greater Keene. They were co-leaders of the Town-Wide Broadband Project, the High Peaks Education Foundation and the Keene Flood Recovery Fund.
Their current project can be reviewed at www.ADKfutures.org, a scenario planning project about the future of the Adirondack Park.
